Maltodextrin

AVOID
Corn maltodextrin, from GM corn should be totally avoided.

Look for certified USDA organic tapioca maltodextrin, or better still,  avoid products with any form of maltodextrin in them.

If you pick up a natural product and the ingredients list says “maltodextrin,” chances are very high that the maltodextrin in the product is derived from Monsanto’s GM corn.
Virtually all the maltodextrin used throughout the 'natural' products industry is genetically modified.

Avoid all flavoured Rice Crackers: not only do most contain 'yeast extract' & 'natural flavours' but take for example,  SakataWholegrain with Parmesan, herb & garlic. These crackers not only contain the 2 above ingredients, but also contain 'whey powder', vegetable oils & the GM corn derived 'maltodextrin'. With no less than four (4) forms of MSG you would find them very tasty & they would keep you coming back for more!
Ongoing research has linked excess glutamate as a contributing factor in brain tumours, hyperactivity, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.

WISHING YOU ALL A  SAFE, WONDERFUL AND RELAXING EASTER!
