What happens to Aspartame (E951) in your body.


One of Aspartame's amino acids is menthol. This breaks down to FORMALDEHYDE!- a recognised neurotoxin. Another of it's amino acids interferes with melatonin ( a sleep transmitter) & tryptophan (which makes serotonin). A lack of serotonin is linked to depression.
All of these are very good reasons why you should not consume any product with this artificial sweetener.
